Emergency First Aid

Aimed at Anyone who may be required to administer initial First Aid to an injured or ill person until the arrival of more qualified help.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Accident Management and Patient Assessment
  • Attend to Respiratory Emergencies
  • CPR & use an AED (Including recognising Heart Attack & Stroke)
  • Attend to Victims with Altered Levels of Consciousness
  • Attend to Musculoskeletal Injuries
  • Attend to Burns & Scalds, Clothing on Fire Treatment, Chemical Burn Treatment Poisons and Electric Shock Treatment
